Near T1 security, this juice counter is the quick fix
Juice Junction sits inside Terminal T1 at Chennai International Airport, on the domestic side, and functions as a grab-and-go counter more than a sit-down restaurant. Expect a basic menu focused on fresh fruit juices, milkshakes, and a few small snacks, usually priced in the ₹120–₹250 range per drink. It’s the sort of place you hit between security and your gate when you just want something cold and sweet before boarding.
The lineup typically includes orange, watermelon, pineapple, and mixed fruit juices, along with thicker milkshakes like chocolate or mango. Portions run around 250–300 ml per cup, so one drink will usually carry you through a short T1 hop to Bengaluru or Hyderabad. If you’re eyeing something lighter, stick to the plain fruit juices; for a heavier hit, go for the mango or chocolate shake, which leans more like a dessert in a cup.
Turnaround time is quick by airport standards: most orders at Juice Junction come out in 3–7 minutes, depending on how many people are ahead of you. There’s limited or no dedicated seating right at the counter, so plan to take your drink back toward your T1 gate’s seating area. Card and UPI payments are normally accepted, but it’s smart to have at least ₹200 in cash in case the payment terminal acts up during peak domestic bank hours.
T1 at MAA can feel dry and warm, especially in the late afternoon when temperatures in Chennai push past 32°C, so this stall becomes a practical stop for hydration more than a “meal.” Don’t expect barista coffee or a full food menu here; if you need a proper lunch or dinner, pair a juice with something more substantial from another T1 outlet. One last tip: lines spike around the 18:00–21:00 domestic departure wave, so aim to swing by Juice Junction earlier in the day or right after clearing T1 security instead of waiting until final call at your gate.
