Gate-side carbs at T4: this is the Domino's option
Domino's Pizza sits in Terminal T4 at Chennai International Airport, on the international side, so this is airport-safe comfort food before a long flight. It’s a standard Domino’s counter format: order at the till, grab a seat nearby, and listen for your name. Expect basic pies, garlic bread, and soft drinks; nothing fancy, but predictable when your boarding pass says MAA–DXB at 02:40 and you just need something hot.
Pricing runs higher than city outlets: a regular pizza that might be ₹249 in town can edge closer to ₹350–₹400 here, and combo deals with a drink can touch ₹500–₹600. You’ll see the usual Veg Loaded, Pepper Barbecue Chicken, and Margherita, plus sides like cheesy dip and choco lava cake. Portions match the standard Domino’s sizing, so a medium split between two people is usually enough if you ate something before arriving at T4.
Food comes out fast by airport standards: 10–15 minutes for a fresh pizza during normal traffic, stretching toward 20 minutes when multiple widebodies out of T4 bank around midnight. If your boarding pass shows “final call” in under 25 minutes, stick to ready slices, garlic bread, or a lava cake instead of a made-to-order pie. Soft drinks are 300 ml or 500 ml bottles, with visible pricing on the digital menu boards.
You’ll find the counter airside after security in T4, near other QSR names, so you don’t need to hold back at T2 or T1 if you’re already checked in for an international departure. Payments work with Indian cards, UPI QR, and most international credit cards; have a backup card if your foreign issuer sometimes blocks India transactions. Expect basic paper plates and dispensers with sachets of oregano and chili flakes, not full cutlery.
Tip: order a medium pizza to share 30–40 minutes before departure, eat two slices at the table, then box the rest for a backup snack if your MAA departure goes into classic “delay by 45 minutes” mode.
