4th Street Vine Wine & Beer Bar

Gate 1-side pours beat the usual airport macrobrews here

4th Street Vine Wine & Beer Bar sits airside in Terminal 1 at Long Beach (LGB), a few minutes’ walk from the main cluster of gates. It runs on airport hours, typically opening by the first morning departures and staying open into the last evening bank, so you can usually get a glass before a 7 a.m. flight or a nightcap around 9 p.m.

The focus is exactly what the name says: wine and beer, not cocktails. Expect rotating taps with several California craft options in the $9–$12 range and wine by the glass roughly $10–$15. There are a few simple snacks like nuts or packaged bites under $10, but this is not a full-meal stop. If you need something bigger, grab food from another Terminal 1 spot and bring it here with your drink.

Service pace matches the terminal’s small scale; with just a few stools and nearby tables, you’re usually seated and poured in under 10 minutes unless three flights out of Gate 1, Gate 2, and Gate 3 are boarding at once. Staff know the tap list and can steer you between lighter lagers and heavier IPAs, which helps when you only have 20 minutes before boarding and don’t want to guess.

Menu depth is limited: you might see only 4–6 beers on draft and a short printed list of maybe 6–8 wines. There’s no kids’ menu, and non-drinkers are looking at soft drinks or water at typical airport prices, around $4–$6. Tabs climb quickly if you sit through a delay, so mentally budget at least $20–$25 per person if you plan on two drinks.

Tip: order and pay on your first round, then move toward your exact gate in Terminal 1 with your glass so you’re within eyeshot of boarding while you finish.
