Terminal B Parking

Short-term garage

Three-minute walk into Terminal B, $30/day on-site

Terminal B Parking is the short-term garage directly next to LGA’s rebuilt Terminal B, about a 3-minute covered walk into check-in for American, JetBlue, and United. Daily rate runs $30, which is roughly double the $15-ish off-airport shuttle lots, but you skip buses completely and just roll your bag straight into the terminal.

This is a true short-term garage, but you can leave your car here for multi-day trips if you’re fine with the math at $30 per 24 hours. Flyers on 1–2 night business runs often just park here and leave the discount codes and shuttle vouchers for longer vacations. The garage is post-toll-plaza, right by Terminal B, so you’re not looping around the airport road system once you commit.

FlyerTalk regulars describe the terminal-adjacent lots, including B, as “easy, safe and quick” with on-site daily areas rarely filling completely. You get structured parking instead of an open lot, decent lighting, and direct pedestrian access into the main departures level. Figure 5–10 minutes from pulling a ticket at the gate to standing in the AA or JetBlue check-in area if traffic at the plaza isn’t jammed.

The trade-off is cost: $30 per day versus about $15 at nearby off-airport facilities with shuttles that can add 15–25 minutes each way. People doing three nights or more often switch to those remote options, especially on leisure trips, and keep Terminal B Parking for short weekday turns. If you’re comparing, multiply your trip length, then decide if saving $45–$60 is worth the extra shuttle time.

Tip: For early morning AA flights out of Terminal B, plan to park here and be at the security queue within 10 minutes of entering the garage; pay on exit, and keep your ticket handy so you’re not digging for it at the gate arm.
