Accessorize

Fashion

Opposite the main duty free in departures, Accessorize sits in the post-security shopping strip at Leeds Bradford Airport. It’s a small fashion and accessories unit, but you can still grab last‑minute bags, scarves and costume jewellery before boarding. Expect mostly high‑street pricing, not outlet deals, so think normal UK mall prices rather than airport discounts.

Accessorize here leans heavily on travel‑friendly pieces: compact crossbody bags that pass as “personal items” for low‑cost carriers, soft pashminas for chilly cabins, and multipacks of earrings that fit easily in a 1‑litre liquids bag if you’re reshuffling at security. Stock skews towards women’s fashion, with a few kids’ hair accessories and small gifts under £15.

The shop usually opens from first wave departures around 04:00 until the last evening flights, though hours track the LBA schedule and can tighten on quieter days. Because it’s airside, you can only visit after security, and it’s roughly a 2–4 minute walk from most common UK and European gates. Card and contactless are standard; cash works but queues move faster with tap‑to‑pay.

Selection turns over seasonally, with more sun hats and beach bags when Jet2 and Ryanair holiday flights ramp up in summer, then heavier scarves and beanies later in the year. If boarding is already showing “Go to gate,” give yourself at least 5 minutes to browse and pay here before you walk down to the stands at the far end of departures.
