Near the center of Terminal B, this is the local gift shop
L.A. Original in Terminal B leans hard into Los Angeles-made goods. You’ll see LA-branded shirts, hats, and totes alongside candles, snacks, and small-batch sauces from local businesses. Pricing runs on the higher side for souvenirs (think $25–$40 tees and $15–$30 accessories), but it’s in line with other Tom Bradley shops. Everything is post-security, so you can pop in after clearing the main T-B checkpoint.
Most of the stock is focused on gifts that actually say “Los Angeles” or come from LA-based makers, rather than generic “California” stuff. You’ll find notebooks, pins, and art prints around the $10–$30 mark, plus kid-friendly items like puzzles and coloring books. Inventory turns fairly quickly, so if you see something from a local brand you like, don’t bank on grabbing it on your next trip through LAX.
This space sits along the main Terminal B retail run, between other brand-name shops and before the big central food court. Figure 5–10 minutes each way from most B gates, a bit more if you’re hiking from the far international bus gates. It’s carry-on friendly: lots of small, packable items, not many oversized pieces that’ll mess up your bag situation.
Tip: if you’re tight on time before an international departure out of Terminal B, swing through L.A. Original first, then grab food; lines at the nearby restaurants tend to stack up after about 18:00, while the shop usually stays an easier in-and-out.
