Wolfgang Puck Express

Gate-side eats near United in Terminal 7

Two minutes from most United gates in Terminal 7, Wolfgang Puck Express gives you a recognizable menu when you don’t want to gamble on something new. It sits post-security on the concourse used by United and United Express, so you can keep an eye on the departure boards while you eat. Expect quick-service counter ordering and food delivered to your table or packed to go.

Pricing runs higher than street level: think around $15–$20 for pastas and pizzas, and $10–$14 for salads and sandwiches. Portions lean airport-normal, not huge, so a pizza or pasta usually feeds one person. If you’re trying to keep it light before a late-night flight out of Terminal 7, the salads are the safer bet than the creamier pasta dishes.

Menu focus is the usual Wolfgang Puck hits: personal-size pizzas, pastas, and American-style salads. The Margherita or pepperoni pizza is the safer order; the more loaded toppings can get greasy under heat lamps when they’re busy. If you want something you can eat at the gate, a simple cheese pizza or a Caesar wrap travels better than sauced pasta in a flimsy to-go box.

Hours generally track United’s bank times in Terminal 7, opening early enough for the first morning departures and staying open through most late-evening flights. Still, anything after about 9:00 p.m. gets iffy, especially on slower weeknights, so have a backup in Terminal 7 or walk over to Terminal 6 if you land late.

Tip: with Terminal 7 security sometimes backing up 20+ minutes, clear TSA first, then grab food here and carry it to your gate instead of eating pre-security in the ticketing hall.
