Vino Volo

B

Gate-adjacent wine bar in LAX Terminal B

Vino Volo sits airside in Tom Bradley International Terminal B, a small wine bar where you can actually hear your gate announcements. It’s past security in the main departures hall, so you’re fine staying here until about 25–30 minutes before an international boarding call. Seating is mostly two-tops and a short bar, so think glass-of-wine-and-snack, not full business dinner.

The menu leans on wine flights and by-the-glass pours, with prices that typically run in the $12–18 range per glass and $18–25 for basic flights. You’ll see West Coast pinot, standard Napa cab, and a few European bottles rotated through. They pour in proper glassware, which feels like a step up from the plastic you’ll get at most bars in Terminal B.

Food is light: cheese and charcuterie boards, flatbreads, and a few small plates that usually sit in the $12–20 bracket. Portions work better as a pre-flight bite than a full meal before a 10–12 hour haul. If you need something substantial before a long-haul out of B, pair a snack here with a quick stop at one of the fast-casual spots nearby.

Hours track with international banks of flights, typically opening by mid-morning and running until late evening, often around the last departures wave after 10:00 p.m. Exact closing can slide by 30–60 minutes depending on the day and airline schedules, so don’t leave this for a midnight glass and expect it to be open every time.

Service style is sit-down; you’ll usually pay at the table or bar and can be in and out in 25–35 minutes if you keep it to one flight and a snack. If your boarding pass shows a departure from a far-off TBIT bus gate, pad that with another 5–10 minutes for the walk.

Tip: If you want a quieter spot, aim for off-peak times between the big afternoon and late-evening long-haul banks, roughly 2:00–4:00 p.m., when Terminal B calms down a bit.
