Daily rate runs $60 and you’re right across the horseshoe from Terminal 1, in Parking Structure 1 at LAX. This is true terminal parking, not an economy shuttle lot, so you walk straight to Southwest and other T1 check-in in a few minutes instead of waiting 15–20 minutes for a bus.

Upper and lower level entrances both feed this garage, and FlyerTalk regulars call out that the lower entrance immediately sends you up a ramp to level 2. If traffic is jammed on the upper departures loop near Terminal 1, dropping down one level and using the lower entry can save 5–10 minutes of circling.

The posted daily max is $60, but FlyerTalk reports that P1 often books through LAX’s online system with promo codes that knock a chunk off that drive-up price. If your dates are set more than 24–48 hours out, it’s worth doing a quick prebook search before you commit to paying full walk-up rates at the gate.

Elevators and stairs connect each level to pedestrian walkways leading toward Terminal 1, so count on about a 3–8 minute walk depending on your space and your gate within T1.

What regulars do: when the upper loop is clogged, they swing to the lower level entrance, ride straight to level 2, and start hunting for a space there instead of grinding through departures traffic.
