Gate A3 in Terminal 1 is where Snack Shack lives

Right by gate A3 in Terminal 1, Snack Shack is the 24/7 option when everything else in this corner of LAS has gone dark. It sits post-security, so this is a last-minute grab spot after you clear the Terminal 1 checkpoint and before you board from the A gates.

This is pure fast food and convenience: packaged snacks, bottled drinks, some pre-made sandwiches, and candy racks. It’s tagged as a local fast food outlet, but functionally it feels closer to a small airport mini‑mart. With a 1-star rating, expectations should stay low: think backup plan, not a sit-down meal.

Prices hit typical airport levels: chips and candy in the $3–$6 range, bottled drinks around $4–$6, and basic sandwiches or wraps creeping toward $10. There’s no table service, just a counter and whatever nearby seating you can poach near A3 or along the A‑gate concourse.

There’s no signature dish here, so aim for items that look high turnover: sealed drinks, branded snacks, and anything with a visible date stamp. Skip anything that looks like it’s been in the warmer too long or has condensation pooling inside the package. If you want a real meal, walk further down Terminal 1’s A concourse to check other spots before defaulting back to Snack Shack.

Hours are truly 24/7, which matters on those 01:00–05:00 red-eye banks at Harry Reid International when other Terminal 1 options close early or open late. Because it’s post-security, you can’t use it as a general convenience store unless you already have a boarding pass and have cleared the Terminal 1 checkpoints.

Tip: If your flight leaves from gate A3 or nearby A1–A5 and you land late from another concourse, hit a bigger food option first, then use Snack Shack only for last-second water and snacks on the walk to your gate.
