Gate-side tequila bar in Terminal 1
Terminal 1 travelers at LAS find Jose Cuervo Tequileria on the concourse, past security, working as a sit-down spot for Mexican food and tequila-focused drinks before flights. Being inside Terminal 1 matters here, since Terminal 3 users can’t get to it airside without re-clearing security through T1.
As the name hints, the bar leans on Jose Cuervo tequila for its margaritas and mixed drinks, so expect tequila-heavy options by the glass rather than a giant spirits book. Food runs in the usual airport-Mexican lane: think tacos, nachos, and quesadillas alongside the drinks, with prices higher than strip standards but normal for a major airport terminal.
Hours track with Terminal 1’s daily flight schedule, opening early enough for morning departures and usually running into the late evening to catch the last bank of flights. If you have a 6:00 a.m. departure out of T1, don’t count on a full bar setup, but by mid-morning it generally feels like a regular pre-flight stop for tequila and hot food.
Seating sits right off the Terminal 1 concourse, so you’re eating and drinking in open view of nearby gates instead of a closed dining room. That’s nice if your boarding pass says A, B, or C gates and you want to keep an eye on lines and boarding groups while you work through a plate of food and a margarita.
Watch your time: a relaxed stop here can easily eat 45 minutes once you factor in being seated, ordering a round, and paying. If your boarding pass shows a tight 35-minute connection through Terminal 1, this isn’t the move; grab something from a closer kiosk near your gate instead.
Tip: Check your gate first; if you’re out of an end-of-pier gate in Terminal 1, walk halfway there before stopping at Jose Cuervo Tequileria so you don’t get stuck with a 10-minute sprint after paying the check.
