Gaming Lounge (Smoking Permitted)

Local · Lounge

1 · B15 Open · 24/7 open ★ 1 Post-security

Smoking-allowed slot machines sit just past B15 in T1

The Gaming Lounge (Smoking Permitted) sits airside in Terminal 1, near gate B15, and basically exists for one purpose: slots plus cigarettes before boarding. It’s open 24/7, so that combo is available on a 5 a.m. departure or a 1 a.m. arrival. Think small bank of machines more than a true “lounge,” with people cycling through for a last hit of nicotine and video reels.

This spot counts as post-security in the A/B/C concourse of Terminal 1, so you need a boarding pass to get here. There’s no bar, no food menu, and no real seating beyond what’s at the slot machines themselves. Pricing is whatever you feed into the machines; expect standard airport casino minimums rather than penny-friendly locals’ joints on Flamingo or Boulder Highway.

The airport lists this as a “Local · Lounge,” but reviews sit around a 1-star rating, which tracks once you see it: dated machines, harsh lighting, constant smoke. If you don’t smoke, walk past and use the regular gate areas near B15 and B14; they share the same view of the ramp without the haze. You’ll find better spots to sit and charge a phone elsewhere in Terminal 1.

If you do want a last cigarette, this is one of the few indoor smoking-permitted spaces left at LAS after security in T1. Plan on leaving with clothes that smell like you spent 30 minutes in a downtown casino pit. No posted time limits, but gate agents for B15 and nearby flights start boarding roughly 35–45 minutes before departure, so keep an eye on your watch.

Tip: If your gate isn’t in the B concourse, give yourself at least 10–15 minutes to walk back from the Gaming Lounge to A or C gates; the smoke break isn’t worth a sprinting final call.
