Opposite gate D1, this Centurion Lounge sits in Terminal 1
Find the Amex Centurion Lounge in Terminal 1’s D Concourse, directly opposite gate D1 and just left of the escalators from the tram level. It sits airside, so you need to clear security for Terminal 1 before heading toward the D gates.
Entry runs on the usual American Express rules: Platinum and Centurion cardmembers get in with same-day boarding passes, and guesting follows the current Amex policy tied to your card. No Priority Pass, day passes, or paid walk-ins here, so don’t count on buying your way in at the door.
The space runs on typical Centurion patterns: dedicated bar, hot and cold buffet, workspaces, and a quieter seating zone if you walk a bit deeper past the main food area. This location also has showers, which matters in Las Vegas heat or after a red-eye; ask at the front desk for a shower room slot, since they control it with a sign-up list.
Food follows the standard Amex lounge template with a rotating hot entrée lineup and lighter options like salads and snacks at lunch and dinner. Breakfast usually brings eggs, potatoes, and pastries rather than a full made-to-order setup. All buffet items are included once you’re inside, so you’re not paying per dish at this lounge.
Drinks at the full bar cover complimentary house spirits, wine, and beer, plus a cocktail list with better-than-terminal-margarita quality pours. Tipping a dollar or two per drink keeps service quick when the bar gets busy at peak bank times around mid-morning and late afternoon departures.
Expect crowding during conference departures and Sunday evenings; the D gates feed a lot of leisure traffic, and this is one of the more attractive holding pens in Terminal 1. If it looks jammed at the entrance, walk to the far end near the windows, since seats there usually free up before the central area by the buffet.
One practical tip: if you’re flying from a C gate in Terminal 1, build at least 15–20 minutes to ride the tram to D, walk to the lounge by gate D1, and then get back; for D gate flights, aim to be out of the lounge and at your gate 20 minutes before boarding, since you’re only a short walk away.
