Gate D gateside, this Admirals Club mainly serves American flyers
Inside Terminal 1 at the D Gates, the American Airlines Admirals Club gives AA passengers a quieter spot away from the main concourse crowds. You need same-day American or oneworld access, a membership, or an eligible credit card to get in, and you have to be flying out of Terminal 1 since there’s no airside link to Terminal 3 at LAS.
The club sits airside near American’s D-gate departures, so plan on a 5–10 minute walk from most D gates depending on moving walkway timing. It opens early for the first American departures and usually stays open through the last evening bank, which at LAS often pushes past 9:00 p.m. Check same-day hours in the app before you bank on a late-night visit.
Food follows the standard Admirals Club spread: basic cold items and a few snacks that work for a 45–60 minute sit-down, not a full dinner. Expect things like hummus, vegetables, chips, and maybe a simple soup or salad bar rotation rather than a cooked-to-order menu. If you want a real meal, grab something in Terminal 1’s main food court before heading to D Gates and use the lounge mainly for drinks and Wi‑Fi.
Drinks track typical Admirals pricing: house beer and wine usually comped, with a short paid list of better spirits and cocktails in the $8–$15 range. The bar faces into the main seating area, so if you want to work, pick a table farther from the bar TVs and closer to the windows overlooking the D concourse. Expect standard 110V outlets along walls and near some seating clusters, not at every single chair.
Bathrooms are inside the lounge, which saves a roundtrip back into Terminal 1’s public restrooms during peak times. Showers are not guaranteed at this LAS location, so don’t plan a full refresh like you might in a larger hub Admirals Club in DFW or CLT; treat this more as a place to charge up and get a drink between flights.
Practical tip: if your American flight departs from a remote D gate like D40 or beyond, leave the lounge about 20 minutes before boarding time to cover the walk through Terminal 1’s D concourse without rushing.
