Pick Yo

Terminal 1 passengers hit Pick Yo first for coffee and yogurt

Pick Yo sits airside in Terminal 1 at Kuwait International Airport, an easy stop if your gate is in the main departures hall. It runs long daytime hours that typically match the bulk of outbound flights, so early-morning and late-evening departures still catch it open. Expect a quick counter-service setup with limited stools rather than a full dining room.

Menu focus is yogurt, coffee, and light snacks, not hot meals. You’ll see build-your-own yogurt cups with toppings priced in the mid-range for KWI airport cafés, usually a few Kuwaiti dinars depending on size and extras. Coffee covers the basics: espresso, cappuccino, and iced options, plus juices and bottled drinks in the chiller. Portions skew lighter than chain fast food in Terminal 1.

If your connection is 45–60 minutes in Terminal 1, Pick Yo works for a grab-and-go order. Staff are used to travelers ordering in a hurry, and most items land in your hand in under five minutes. You can carry everything back to gates near the central concourse without fighting a long tray-balancing walk. Payment is standard for KWI: cards widely accepted, cash in Kuwaiti dinars only.

Food leans sweet and dairy-heavy, so this isn’t a great option if you need a substantial pre-flight meal before a 6–8 hour sector. Think of it as a snack or coffee stop to pair with something more filling from other Terminal 1 outlets. Cold-case items like pre-made sandwiches appear at some locations, but selection changes over the day and sells out closer to midnight bank departures.

Tip: if your gate is announced as one of the remote bus gates in Terminal 1, order at Pick Yo before you head down; there’s usually nothing comparable near the bus holding area.
