That cinnamon smell in T1 is Cinnabon at work
In Terminal 1 after security, Cinnabon runs daily from 10:00 to 22:00 and fills the concourse with sugar and cinnamon. This is a straight-ahead stop for coffee and pastries at the lower end of the price scale, clearly in the $ tier compared with the sit-down spots nearby. Expect a quick counter-service setup, not a place to linger for hours.
The menu leans on the classic cinnamon roll, plus variations like smaller bite-sized rolls and occasional chocolate-drizzled versions, all baked on-site inside T1. Portions skew large, so one full roll can easily carry you through a short-hop flight out of Kuwait International Airport. Coffee is basic drip and espresso-style rather than specialty third-wave stuff, but it does the job when your boarding time is 30–40 minutes away.
Because this Cinnabon sits post-security in Terminal 1, it works well for passengers on regional routes using T1 gates who want something sweet instead of another generic sandwich. Pricing is predictable international-chain territory, with a roll and coffee usually coming out cheaper than a full fast-food meal in the same terminal. If you have under 15 minutes, stick to pre-made rolls in the display rather than waiting on custom warm-ups.
There’s limited stool seating near the counter in T1, so most people grab a box and eat at their gate. Staff keep things moving during evening bank times, roughly 18:00–22:00, but lines can still build. If you’re traveling with kids, factor in an extra 5–10 minutes for them to pick toppings and drinks because the pastry case can cause decision paralysis.
Tip: If your flight boards from a far T1 gate, buy your Cinnabon as soon as you clear security rather than “on the way” to avoid backtracking along the concourse.
