Regulars on FlyerTalk describe using Pearl mainly as their contract entry point, then walking about 30 seconds to the neighboring RwandAir DreamMiles Lounge when their ticket permits, especially for better apron views and espresso-based drinks. If you’re on RwandAir in business or have elite status, ask staff if you can switch lounges after check-in.

Seating is mostly armchairs and small tables with power outlets scattered rather than at every seat, so grab a socket as soon as you see one. Wi‑Fi is free, and most reports say speeds are adequate for mail and messaging, though not always great for heavy uploads during the late-night departure bank.

Practical tip: if you’re paying the $40–€40 walk-in rate, arrive at least two hours before your flight to make it worthwhile, eat a proper meal from the buffet, and lock down a powered seat close to your gate time so you’re not sprinting back to gate 1 boarding calls.
