Tashba might exist at JMK, but nobody talks about it

Search Google, Reddit, or FlyerTalk and you’ll find plenty of complaints about Mykonos Airport, but almost nothing naming Tashba in Terminal 1. It’s listed as a local / Middle Eastern spot and marked as landside (pre-security), so factor in at least 15–20 minutes to get back through the single security checkpoint if you eat here before a Schengen or non‑Schengen flight.

Because there are zero usable reviews, treat Tashba as a wildcard: you know the category (local and Middle Eastern) but not the pricing, hours, or exact position in Terminal 1’s small public hall. Mykonos Airport itself is tiny, with just one terminal and short walking distances, so if Tashba is open you’ll likely spot it within a 2–3 minute walk from the main check‑in counters.

Figure on standard Greek island airport pricing: think roughly €4–€5 for coffee, €6–€10 for a basic pita or snack, and over €10 if they’re doing proper plates or mezze. With no menu photos or dish names online, don’t bank on special dietary options; assume basic meat‑heavy skewers, wraps, and salads, and double‑check ingredients at the counter before you order.

Since there are no published complaints tied to Tashba, the bigger risk is timing, not quality. Mykonos security can back up to 20–30 minutes in July and August, especially before morning and late‑afternoon waves to Athens and European hubs. If you eat landside at Tashba, set an alarm at least 60 minutes before departure for intra‑EU flights and 75 minutes for anything with tight connections downline.
