Lux Brewery

Gate 1, Lux Brewery is on the board, but nobody can find it

Every map of Mykonos Airport Terminal 1 shows only one basic café and a kiosk, and locals online talk about bottled beer there, not about anything called Lux Brewery. If you see the name on a ticket, airport list, or website, assume it’s legacy data or branding that never became a real bar in the 4-gate terminal. Plan as if the only post-security food and drink are the main café and the small stand in the compact departures hall.

Security for JMK usually takes around 15–30 minutes in summer, and once you clear it in Terminal 1 you will not see signage, logos, or taps for Lux Brewery anywhere near Gate 1–4. Expect standard packaged beers from Greek brands in the cooler at the café instead of house brews, flights, or tap lists. If you want a specific craft label from Mykonos town, buy it in the city first, then drink it later at your hotel; you won’t be opening it in the gate area.

Prices at the existing café run roughly €4–€6 for a basic beer, which lines up with forum reports dating back to 2022, and there is still no mention of Lux Brewery drafts, growlers, or merch. Snacks lean toward simple sandwiches and pastries in the €5–€9 range, again with generic branding. If a staff member mentions Lux, it’s most likely a supplier name on the invoice, not a place you can sit down and order a tasting paddle.

Tip: eat and drink properly in Mykonos town before your flight; at the airport you’re looking at one café by departures and a kiosk by the small gate area, not a functioning Lux Brewery taproom.
