Covered access helps when the weather turns bad, and you stay under a roof for almost the entire walk. If you’re hauling checked-size luggage, budget an extra 5 minutes to deal with elevators and crowds at peak JetBlue bank times.
Yellow Garage pricing tracks JFK’s short-term rate structure, with the meter running by the half hour, then switching into a higher cap after a few hours. Past the 24-hour point, daily rates usually beat ride-share only if you’re under two days. Past 48 hours, you’re better off in Long-Term Parking or an off-airport lot. Pay attention to posted time limits by level; some rows closer to the exits turn over faster and see more patrols.
