Oud and Perfume Kiosk

1

Terminal 1’s main retail strip has a small Oud and Perfume Kiosk that you’ll spot by the dense oud scent long before the sign. It sits airside in Terminal 1, so you’re fine on time if you’re already through security and headed to international gates. Think quick grab, not a sit-and-sniff boutique.

Most bottles run in the SAR 80–300 range, with some concentrated oud oils climbing higher, so this kiosk covers last-minute gifts more than luxury trophy buys. You’ll see a tight lineup of Arabic oud, mixed French-style perfumes, bakhoor, and burners, all on the counter and back shelves. Staff usually spray testers on paper, not skin, which keeps the area breathable in a busy T1 corridor.

Selection leans heavy on strong, traditional oud profiles, plus sweeter mixes that work better in hot weather and long travel days. If you’re unsure, start with lighter blends or oil rollerballs under SAR 100 instead of committing to a full 100 ml spray. Don’t expect duty-free-style brand names here; this is more local-style fragrance than global label shopping.

Figure on a 5–10 minute stop if you’re just grabbing one bottle, 15 minutes if you want to compare a few scents and test bakhoor. Card payments are standard, but keep some SAR cash in case network hiccups hit during peak evening departures. Quick tip: buy after your coffee or meal in Terminal 1 so the perfume doesn’t clash with food smells while you’re deciding.
