Slice and go near Gate 32 in Terminal 1
Sbarro in Terminal 1 sits on the departures side after security, so it works for any international flight leaving JED from T1. It’s a straight fast-food setup: counter ordering, trays, and basic seating. Expect mostly pizza, pasta, and stromboli at budget prices compared with the sit-down spots nearby.
Most slices land in the 18–28 SAR range, with larger combo meals creeping toward 35–40 SAR if you add a drink and side. Portions run on the heavier side for airport food, so a single slice and a soft drink usually covers a quick meal before boarding. Card payments are accepted, and you pay at the counter before your food hits the tray.
The menu leans American-style Italian: cheese, pepperoni, and veggie pizza by the slice, plus baked ziti and basic spaghetti. If you just need something predictable before a Saudia or flynas departure, a pepperoni slice and a bottled water gets you out in under 10 minutes. Garlic bread and small salads sit in the warmer next to the pizza pans if you want to stretch it to a full plate.
Turnover is highest around late-evening long-haul banks (21:00–01:00), so pies come out of the oven more often then and slices taste fresher. Midday, around 13:00–16:00, you may see slices sitting a bit longer under the heat lamps; if that bothers you, ask for a reheat or pick from the pan that just came out. Staff usually call out pie timings when a new tray is ready.
One practical tip: grab your slice here before heading to gates in the low 20s, where options thin out and prices creep up a few riyals for similar fast food. If your boarding pass shows “final call” at 30 minutes before departure, you still have time for a quick order and eat at Sbarro, but carry-out in a box is safer for anything tighter.
