Gate-side sugar fix in Terminal 1

Right in King Abdulaziz International Airport’s Terminal 1, Cinnabon runs on a simple promise: hot rolls, coffee, and not much waiting around. It’s past security in the main departures area, so you can grab something sweet after you clear immigration and before boarding. Expect the familiar international chain look and smell; if you can smell cinnamon in T1, you’re probably close.

Cinnabon in T1 leans on the classics: the standard Cinnabon roll, MiniBons, and usually a few flavors of iced coffee or blended drinks. Prices run higher than a city mall store, roughly what you’d expect from an international airport in Saudi Arabia, with a roll plus drink landing in the mid-range for Terminal 1 snacks. It’s all counter service with takeaway trays and paper boxes, good for carrying back to gates 1–27.

Service hours typically track peak international banks in Terminal 1, with early openings for morning departures and late closing for overnight flights. If you’re on a late-night Saudia or foreign carrier departure out of T1, this is one of the more reliable sweet options still open when some smaller kiosks shutter. Seating is usually just a few small tables plus nearby public chairs rather than a full café setup.

Ordering is fast: you’ll usually be in and out in under 10 minutes unless a couple of widebody flights hit security at the same time. Go for fresh tray rolls when you see staff icing new ones; those hold up better over a 6–8 hour long-haul than rolls that have sat under the heat lamp. If your flight leaves from a far-end gate, buy a drink with little or no ice so it survives the 10–15 minute walk through Terminal 1.
