Al Fursan Lounge

Invitation-only access at JED’s Royal Terminal

Access here runs through the Royal Terminal at King Abdulaziz International Airport, not Terminal 1 or Hajj, and the Al Fursan Lounge only accepts invited guests. If your airline or sponsor hasn’t arranged Royal Terminal processing in advance, there is no way to walk up and pay or enter with a card like Priority Pass.

The Al Fursan Lounge sits airside within the Royal Terminal complex at JED, separate from the standard security and immigration lines used by Terminal 1 and Hajj passengers. Transfers are controlled; security and passport control for Royal Terminal users run on their own channels, so you can go from curb to lounge without touching the regular terminal buildings.

This lounge links to Saudia’s premium offering at JED and often serves passengers on long-haul routes such as JED–LHR and JED–JFK when they are processed via the Royal Terminal. Food service typically follows prayer times and banked departure waves rather than fixed restaurant-style meal periods, so expect hot dishes to appear in line with your flight’s check‑in window.

Most visits line up with international departures leaving late evening or after midnight, so the Al Fursan Lounge usually stays active during those peak banks. Seating leans toward standard armchairs with side tables arranged in zones, and you’ll see the difference compared with the busier Terminal 1 Saudia lounges as soon as you count the empty seats near your gate call time.

Pricing isn’t public: there’s no posted day rate, and walk‑ups can’t buy entry. Access generally runs through booked premium cabins, high Saudia Alfursan status, or specific VIP and protocol arrangements tied to the Royal Terminal, all confirmed before you arrive at JED.

Plan your ground timing around the Royal Terminal drive, not the main terminals. Your best move: confirm in writing at least 24 hours before departure that your ticket or sponsor includes Royal Terminal and Al Fursan Lounge access, so you don’t show up at the wrong building and lose an hour backtracking to Terminal 1 check‑in.
