T2 $$$$

Sandwiches and samosas near the T2 gates, not full meals

Jaipur T2’s post-security food is basically a few kiosks and coffee counters near the domestic gates, with prices in the ₹150–₹350 range for snacks and sandwiches. Think quick bites before boarding, not a sit-down restaurant or buffet.

Most stalls in T2 departures lean on simple vegetarian options: samosas, basic veg sandwiches, packets of chips, and biscuits, plus tea and instant-style coffee. One frequent flyer on Reddit notes they “only ever grab a sandwich or samosa from the small stalls near the gates,” then eat real meals in Jaipur city instead.

Hot food is hit-or-miss here; several reviews mention that the counters feel more like convenience kiosks, with limited cooked items beyond reheated snacks. If you want something more substantial than a sandwich, you’re looking at whatever single hot dish happens to be in the warmer that day, if anything, and it often runs closer to ₹250–₹300.

Morning flights are the pain point: multiple travelers mention some T2 vendors not opening until closer to 07:00–07:30, leaving only one or two stalls serving tea and packaged items for early departures around 05:00–06:00. Late-night departures after 22:00 see the same problem in reverse, with shutters coming down well before the last flights.

Regulars flying out of Jaipur tend to eat in town or at their hotel, then treat T2’s counters as backup for a bottle of water or a quick samosa. Some even bring their own food for first-wave departures before many kiosks open, using the airport only for drinks and last-minute snacks.

Tip: if your domestic flight from T2 is under two hours, plan your main meal in Jaipur and budget T2 for a ₹200 snack and a coffee only.
