Gate-side bento and snacks from 7:00 at Marusho
On the landside level of Terminal T at Itami, Marusho opens at 7:00 and runs through 20:00, catching both first departures and most evening flights. It’s a straight grab-and-go counter focused on food, so think quick airport provisioning rather than a sit-down meal.
Marusho leans into classic Japanese convenience staples: rice balls, simple bentos, and snack packs you can eat at the gate or on a JAL/ANA hop under an hour. Prices sit in the typical airport-conbini band, with most single items in the ¥200–¥700 range and fuller bentos pushing just over ¥1,000.
Because it’s in Terminal T’s public area, you can stop at Marusho before security, then clear and walk straight to domestic gates without doubling back. That helps if you’re arriving from central Osaka on the Monorail and want food in hand before you hit the security line, especially around 8:00–9:00 and 18:00–19:00 peaks.
Selection is strongest before 12:00; by the 19:00 hour, some bentos and onigiri flavors are gone and you’re left with more generic options and sweets. If you’re catching a late ANA flight in the 19:30 window, plan to shop here closer to 17:00–18:00 when shelves are still reasonably stocked.
Tip: grab drinks and snacks at Marusho in Terminal T, then use the post-security seating near your exact gate as your “dining room” rather than hunting for food once you’re airside and tight on time.
