Loft

Near the central T concourse escalators, Loft is your last-minute fix for Japanese stationery and gifts.

Loft sits in the main T terminal shopping zone at Osaka Itami, a couple minutes’ walk from the central security area. It runs standard daytime hours that roughly track the terminal’s 06:00–21:00 schedule, so you can usually duck in before a 07:30 departure or after an evening arrival. It’s post-security, so this is an easy stop after you clear the main checkpoint.

Prices land in the mid-range for Japan: expect around ¥300–¥500 for pens, ¥400–¥800 for masking tape sets, and ¥1,000–¥2,000 for small travel gadgets like neck pillows or organizers. Compared with the duty-free and fashion shops in T, Loft is where you actually find practical stuff you’ll use on the flight or at home, not just souvenirs with airport markups.

The shelves carry the usual Loft mix: Japanese-brand pens and notebooks, travel-sized skincare, small electronics accessories, and character goods. If you want easy gifts under ¥1,000, grab washi tape, memo pads, or keychains; skip bulky items like large humidifiers or storage boxes that won’t fit in an overhead bin. This isn’t a full flagship Loft, so don’t expect furniture or big home goods—think compact, carry-on friendly only.

Quick tip: hit Loft before you buy snacks elsewhere in T, and grab giftable stationery or small pouches first; it’s easier to pack flat items around a boxed omiyage set than the other way around.
