Kiddy Land

Near gate T-boarding areas, Kiddy Land is the toy stop at Itami

Kiddy Land in Terminal T sits airside in the domestic area, so you can browse after security without clock-watching the check-in lines. It focuses on character goods from big Japanese names like Sanrio and Pokémon, plus seasonal Osaka-only items that rotate monthly. Think keychains, snacks with mascots, stationery, and small plushes that fit into a cabin bag without drama.

Prices skew gift-friendly: mini keyrings start around ¥400–¥600, notebooks and pens land near ¥500–¥800, and mid-size plushes usually run in the ¥1,500–¥2,500 range. That makes it easy to cover a couple of omiyage obligations without dropping more than ¥3,000–¥4,000. Most packaging is carry-on safe, and staff bag items so they survive overhead bins and quick connections.

The shop is inside the main Terminal T domestic concourse, so it mainly targets flights within Japan, including JAL and ANA services. Hours typically mirror the domestic bank, roughly first departures around 7:00 through the evening waves near 21:00, but expect shorter hours on lighter traffic days. If you’re on an early ANA 7:15 departure, don’t assume full stock of the most popular character lines; late afternoon often has better variety.

Best use of Kiddy Land: grab compact items like clear files, stickers, or candy boxes under 200g each if you’re already close to your cabin-weight limit. Skip anything bulky right before a regional jet or a full LCC flight from Itami, since overhead space on those 737s and A320s disappears fast. Tip: take two minutes at the entrance to scan for “Osaka limited” tags in Japanese (大阪限定); those sell out first and make the most interesting gifts.
