T Open · 10:00–18:00 (Last admission to KID-O-KID 17:30)

Gate area T kids’ zone runs as Bornelund Play World

Inside Terminal T, Bornelund Play World gives kids a real place to move before a flight, not just a plastic slide in the corner. Hours run 10:00–18:00, with last admission to the main KID-O-KID play area at 17:30, so don’t bank on a late evening stop here. It sits airside in Itami, so this is for ticketed passengers already through security.

This is a paid indoor playground run by the Bornelund toy brand, not a free waiting-area pen. Expect climbing structures, soft blocks, and activity zones that burn energy in 30–60 minutes. Pricing isn’t clearly listed in English on the airport site, so assume a modest family spend and check at the counter before you commit. Space skews toward younger kids; think toddlers and early elementary more than tweens.

Hours are fixed at 10:00–18:00 daily, which matters if you’re on JL morning banks out of Itami around 08:00–09:00 or evening flights after 19:00. Those time blocks mean this works best for midday departures or long layovers that cross lunch. Last entry at 17:30 is enforced, so arriving at 17:25 with a stroller and bags set you up for a rushed visit.

Tip: grab drinks or snacks from a convenience shop in Terminal T before going in, so you don’t burn play time hunting food once your kids finally agree to leave the KID-O-KID area at 18:00 closing.
