Plane views with a drink at Itami’s cafe and bar

Observation-deck regulars at ITM use the upper-floor café-bar spaces as a home base: order a drink, shoot a few photos, come back in for a refill. This Cafe and bar follows the same rhythm with split hours: Morning 6:30–11:00 (last order 10:30), then a Grand Menu from 11:00–21:00 (last order 20:30). Morning leans coffee-and-light-breakfast; later in the day shifts toward fuller plates and alcohol.

You’re landside in Terminal T, in the same ecosystem as spots like Sachifukuya Café and Northshore Café & Dining, which draw both passengers and plane‑spotters thanks to proximity to the 4F/5F observation area. That means this place works even if you’re meeting someone arriving on a 9:00 flight or killing time before a late 19:30 departure, since the Grand Menu runs through the evening.

Use the time split to plan: arrive before 10:30 if you care about breakfast sets with proper coffee; wait until after 11:00 if you want bar snacks, bigger plates, and beer or highballs. Prices at similar Itami café-bars sit in the ¥800–1,200 range for breakfast and roughly ¥1,200–1,800 for mains, with drinks extra, so budget on that level here too.

What regulars do at Northshore—order a drink, duck out to the deck for photos, then come back inside—translates well to this Cafe and bar. With Grand Menu service until 21:00, it’s one of the easier places in the terminal to sit with a drink and still keep an eye on ANA and JAL narrowbodies taxiing out.

Practical tip: aim to be seated by 20:00 if you want food; the last Grand Menu orders hit at 20:30, and after that you’re likely down to drinks only until the 21:00 close.
