IST’s Main terminal is huge, and the regular garages sit a noticeable walk from check-in. This service runs 24/7 in step with the terminal, so it works for late-night arrivals from Europe and very early-morning long-haul departures when you do not want to hunt for a space.

Pricing is premium compared with the multi-story car parks, with day rates significantly higher than standard short-term and long-term options in the Main terminal complex. You are paying to be at the curb and avoid pushing bags through several hundred meters of parking and walkways. For a family unloading multiple checked bags or anyone arriving at the airport less than 90 minutes before departure, that trade-off can feel worth it.

Valet Parking at Istanbul Airport links directly to the Main terminal entrances used by both domestic and international flights. That matters if you are dropping someone for a domestic leg and immediately picking up another passenger arriving internationally, all by car. Instead of looping repeatedly through the access roads and short-stay areas, you can leave the car once and keep your focus on terminal timings and gate changes.

Payment follows the usual airport pattern: you get charged based on the total hours or days the car stays in the Valet Parking zone, not just the drop-off moment. Expect higher per-day costs than the standard garages attached to the Main terminal. If you are leaving the car for more than three or four days, compare the published tariffs before you commit at the curb.

Practical tip: build in 10–15 extra minutes at pickup in case there is a queue of cars ahead of you; call the valet desk as you exit the Main terminal so they can bring the car around while you walk to the handover point.
