C32-side newsstand with snacks and last-minute chargers

CNBC News sits airside in the Main terminal concourse, a few minutes’ walk from several C-gates. It runs from early morning through the last departures, so it’s usually open for that 5:30 a.m. boarding call and the 9:45 p.m. straggler flight. Think classic airport newsstand: magazines, cold drinks, basic tech, and some grab-and-go bites.

Pricing is standard airport markup: bottled water around $4, candy in the $3–$5 range, and basic phone chargers closer to $25 than $15. You’ll find pre-packaged sandwiches and snacks in the cooler case, fine for a 90-minute hop but not a full-meal replacement. Coffee is serviceable if you missed the bigger chains near the ticketing level.

Inventory leans heavily on national titles with a few Indiana and Indianapolis papers and magazines mixed in, so you can grab both the Wall Street Journal and something local in one stop. Branded merch skews generic travel pillows, neck cushions, and IND-logo items rather than team gear, but it’s enough if you realized at Gate C6 that you forgot a souvenir.

You’re post-security here, so it works as a last stop after clearing TSA in the Main terminal. Lines spike around the 7:00–8:00 a.m. bank, especially for drinks and snacks, but the store is small enough that you’re rarely in there more than five minutes. Quick tip: if your boarding pass shows a C-gate, swing through CNBC News before you sit down; once you park at C10 or C12, you’ll be less motivated to walk back for a $4 water and a magazine.
