Figure on a 0.5-mile walk, about 10 minutes, from Park & Walk to the Main terminal doors at Indianapolis International Airport. This is the on-airport long-stay option that trades shuttles for a sidewalk and crosswalks straight to check-in. If you’re rolling one carry-on and a backpack, the distance feels easy; pushing multiple checked bags will feel longer than the posted 0.5 miles.

Daily parking runs $14, which undercuts the IND terminal garage while keeping you on airport property. It’s signed as “Park & Walk Long Term” as you follow the airport access road toward the Main terminal. Stays of several days stack up quickly, so this is best when you want lower cost than the garage but don’t want the time hit of an off-airport shuttle lot.

Park & Walk is surface parking, uncovered, and set up for long stay use rather than quick in-and-out. That means your car sits in the open through Indiana sun, rain, or snow; if you’re leaving it here a week in January, throw an ice scraper in the trunk before you pull into IND. Lighting is standard airport-lot level, not dim, but not stadium-bright either.

There’s no shuttle, so that 10-minute walk is your only way between Park & Walk and the Main terminal. The route stays on sidewalks with marked crossings and gets you right to the main departures curb. In bad weather, budget a few extra minutes and wear something you’re fine walking 0.5 miles in, not just gate-to-seat shoes.
