travel@ease in the Main Terminal opens at 4:30am and closes at 6:00pm, so it actually beats the first wave of 6:00am departures out of Wichita. It’s a straight shot for last-minute travel essentials once you’re through security in the Main concourse. Think of it as the place to plug a packing hole before boarding, not a place to linger.
This is a pure travel-essentials setup: batteries, basic cables, headphones, phone chargers, neck pillows, sleep masks, and small convenience items sitting a few minutes from the ICT Main security checkpoint. Prices run higher than downtown Wichita big-box stores, but in line with typical airport markups, so expect to pay a few dollars more for simple items like USB-C cables or AA batteries.
You’ll also see a limited set of personal-care items on the shelves: travel-size toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, pain relievers, and a few over-the-counter meds in TSA-friendly 3.4 oz or smaller sizes. That’s useful if you cleared security at ICT and realize your liquids bag in your 22-inch carry-on is missing something basic.
There’s some basic grab-and-go: bottled water, soft drinks, and packaged snacks that work in a pinch on regional flights to hubs like DFW, DEN, or ORD, especially if you skipped the Main food court. Selection is narrower than a full newsstand, so don’t plan on finding niche magazines or specialty drinks.
