Sky Hub Lounge

T1

Hot Korean buffet in T1 beats most Priority Pass options

Sky Hub Lounge sits airside in ICN Terminal 1 and takes Priority Pass, so it fills up fast during the evening rush from about 18:00 to 21:00. It’s one of the few contract lounges here where you can count on proper hot dishes instead of just sandwiches and chips, which is why people still bother to queue.

Figure on standard Priority Pass rules: usually a 3-hour stay, with walk-up access if you’re already past security in T1. The lounge is in the central airside area of Terminal 1, so you can reach it from most gates in under 10 minutes, including the mid-30s gates that handle a lot of long-haul traffic.

Food is the draw: reviewers consistently mention hot rice, soups, and at least one or two Korean mains like bulgogi or japchae on the buffet at mealtimes, plus simple Western items such as pasta and fries. Soft drinks, coffee from machines, and basic alcohol (think beer and a couple of spirits) are included, which is decent value compared with paying ₩10,000–₩15,000 for a single drink in the main terminal.

Seating skews functional: rows of tables and chairs, a few high-top counters, and some armchairs near the windows. With capacity roughly a couple hundred people and multiple Priority Pass issuers feeding it, the place often feels packed, especially when several departures to North America and Europe leave around the same 1–2 hour window.

Expect basic power access: standard sockets along wall seats and some power strips by the window zones, but not at every chair. Wi‑Fi runs off the airport network, which at ICN often tests around 30–50 Mbps, enough for streaming or a quick Teams call if you can find a quieter corner.

Prices matter only if you’re paying cash: walk-in rates reported online sit around ₩39,000–₩45,000 per person, which only starts to make sense if you’ll eat a full meal and have a couple of drinks. With Priority Pass, the value gets much easier to justify, especially on long layovers of 2–3 hours.

Practical tip: hit Sky Hub either before 11:00 or after about 22:00 to dodge the heaviest crowds, and grab a seat with an outlet first, then go for the hot Korean dishes before lines form at the buffet.
