This United Club sits in Terminal C South at IAH, on the secure side for United flyers working C gates. It mainly serves domestic traffic, so think of it as a place to sit, plug in, and wait out a delay rather than a destination on its own.

The lounge usually tracks standard United Club hours, opening early morning for the first C-bank departures and staying open into the late evening push around 9–10 p.m. If you land on a late-night arrival into C after 10 p.m., assume it may already be shut and plan to eat in the concourse instead.

Access follows normal United Club rules: United Club membership, one-time passes, or premium-cabin same-day boarding passes on United or Star Alliance from Terminal C. Since it’s in C South, it’s most practical for flights leaving from gates C1–C33; coming from A or B means a train ride plus an extra 10–15 minutes of walking.

Food runs along the standard United Club template: basic hot snacks, soups, and cold items that rotate during the day. Expect things like hummus, veggies, small sandwiches, and a soup kettle rather than full meals, so if you want something more substantial, grab a burger or tacos in C before heading up.

The bar follows the usual United Club setup with complimentary house beer, wine, and well spirits, plus paid upgrades. A glass of premium wine or a better whiskey typically runs in the $8–$12 range, so it’s decent value if you plan to stay for an hour or two before a flight.

Seating is standard lounge fare: armchairs, small tables, and some work-friendly spots with outlets. With Terminal C handling a heavy United schedule, it can feel tight around peak banks at roughly 7–9 a.m. and 4–7 p.m. If you’re connecting in those windows, arrive early to claim a seat near a power outlet.

Practical tip: on a short C-to-C connection under 45 minutes, skip the detour upstairs and head straight to your gate; save your United Club visit for a longer layover when you can actually sit down and charge your devices.
