Terminal A’s Delta gates sit closest to this Sky Club

This Delta Sky Club is inside Terminal A and mainly serves Delta’s limited IAH operation out of the A concourse. If your boarding pass shows a Delta flight from Terminal A, this is the only Sky Club in the airport you can realistically use without changing terminals and riding the subway.

Access lines up with standard Delta Sky Club rules: Delta One and SkyTeam international premium cabin passengers, Sky Club members, and eligible Amex, Delta Reserve, or other partner cardholders flying Delta out of Terminal A. If you’re flying out of B, C, D, or E on United, American, or another carrier, this club won’t work for you under normal access rules.

IAH security for Terminal A often runs 15–25 minutes in the morning bank from 6:00–8:30 a.m., so build that into any lounge plans. The club sits past security, so you must clear TSA at the A checkpoint first; you can’t enter from the public landside hallway that links some of the terminals.

Delta typically runs just a handful of daily flights from IAH Terminal A, so crowd levels track directly with those departure times on the FIDS boards. During gaps in the schedule, the space usually feels calmer than the gate area at A17–A24, which can get busy when multiple regional jets board at once.

Pricing on food, drinks, and Wi‑Fi is simple here: everything inside runs on the standard Sky Club model, so once you’re in, snacks, Wi‑Fi, and the house bar offerings are included with your access. If you want premium liquor, Sky Clubs across the system usually charge a few dollars per upgraded pour, so expect a similar setup in Terminal A.

The big limitation across IAH is terminal separation: Terminals A and B are linked airside on the subway, but you can’t easily pop from A to C/D/E without leaving security and riding the landside train. If your flight departs from another terminal, factor in at least 20–30 minutes to move between buildings and clear security again if you try to use this Delta Sky Club first.

Practical tip: if your Delta flight boards from an A-gate at the far end of the pier, aim to leave the Sky Club 20 minutes before boarding time; the walk from the lounge area to the end gates in Terminal A can stretch to 8–10 minutes when the concourse is crowded.
