Gate check: Freshii sits in the Main Terminal food court

Freshii sits landside in the Main Terminal food court at Washington Dulles, so you hit it before the Aerotrain out to A, B, or the mobile lounges for C and D. It’s one of the few spots here leaning heavily into salads, grain bowls, and wraps instead of burgers and fries. If you like to board with something you can actually recognize as vegetables, this is one of your better bets.

Prices run standard airport-high: think around $10–$14 for most bowls or salads and $3–$5 for extras like drinks or snacks. The menu follows the usual Freshii template: build-your-own or preset combos with greens, rice, quinoa, beans, and protein add-ons like chicken or tofu. Portions trend decent for a pre-flight meal, and it packs up easily if you’re hopping to the Z-gates shuttle and want to eat at the gate instead.

Hours flex with traffic in the Main Terminal, but expect early-morning opening in the breakfast window and closing in the late evening bank when the last European departures clear TSA. It works well if you’ve just cleared security in the Main Terminal and still have ten to fifteen minutes before heading to your concourse. One miss: seating in the shared food court fills fast in the 5–8 p.m. wave.

Practical move: order a cold bowl or wrap if your connection runs tight, since anything hot risks going soggy on the ride out to A, B, C, or D.
