United Club

C · C7

Gate C7 in Terminal C is home base for United’s workhorse club at Dulles

This United Club sits right by gate C7 in Concourse C and mainly serves connecting United flyers hustling between banks of flights. Access is standard United Club rules: members, eligible Star Alliance premium cabins, and one-time pass holders on same-day United or Star Alliance flights out of IAD. It’s post-security, so once you ride the AeroTrain or mobile lounge to C, you’re already in the right place.

The club usually opens early, around the first United departures from C gates, and runs until the late-night bank winds down. Figure roughly 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., but check your exact day. This is the main United Club in C, so peaks track the heavy departure waves around the top of the hour. If you’re here during a 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. push, plan for limited seating and lines at the bar.

Food follows the standard United Club template: continental breakfast in the morning (think bagels, cereal, fruit) and simple soups, salad bar, and a couple of hot items later in the day. Everything on the buffet is included; expect paid upgrades mainly at the bar. Draft and basic well drinks run in the $0–$10 band with premiums and cocktails above that.

Seating is mostly standard lounge armchairs and small tables spread along windows looking out onto the C concourse ramp. Power outlets are reasonably common but not at every seat; plan on hunting if you arrive in a heavy departure bank. Wi‑Fi is the usual United Club network and supports streaming fine for most people between gates C1 and C20.

Showers are not a feature here, and there’s no true quiet room, only a few slightly calmer corners along the side walls. If you need to take a call, aim for the far end closest to gates C5–C7 where foot traffic thins out. Families will usually cluster near the central buffet area and main bar.

Practical tip: If you have more than 2 hours before a long-haul out of gates C1–C30, consider grabbing a quick snack and drink here near C7, then moving closer to your exact gate early; this club fills fast near boarding time and seats disappear first along the windows.
