Gate-side Kona coffee gifts in Terminal 2

Just past security in Terminal 2, Royal Kona Coffee runs like a compact souvenir stand focused almost entirely on Hawaiian coffee and gift packs. You’ll see the familiar Royal Kona branding before you hit the mid-60s gate area, so it’s easy to duck in on the way to interisland and mainland flights.

Most items sit in the $10–$30 range: ground coffee bags, sampler packs, and boxed sets that pack easily in a carry-on. You’ll also find smaller $5–$8 items like single-pot packs and chocolate-covered coffee beans that work as last-minute thank-you gifts. It’s more retail than café, so don’t expect a full drink menu here.

This is post-security in Terminal 2, so you’re fine buying whole beans or ground coffee for carry-on; TSA has no issue with sealed packages. If you’re already at gates C or G, walking here usually takes 5–10 minutes, so build that into boarding time. Prices skew a bit higher than grocery stores in Honolulu, but still under typical duty-free impulse levels.

Watch out for bulky gift boxes; some of the larger combo sets take up half a backpack. If you’re tight on space, grab flat sampler sleeves or individual 7–8 oz bags instead. One practical move: snap a quick photo of the flavor notes printed on the bag so you can actually remember what you bought once you land.
