Na Hoku

Gate-side jewelry option in Terminal 2

Terminal 2’s Na Hoku sits post-security among the central concourse shops, so you can browse Hawaiian-made jewelry without leaving your gate area for long. This is a full retail store, not a kiosk, and it focuses on higher-end pieces rather than quick souvenirs. Figure on real gold, freshwater pearls, and Hawaiian designs that cost far more than the shell necklaces back in Terminal 1.

Na Hoku keeps typical Terminal 2 retail hours, roughly from the first bank of mainland departures in the morning until the late-night flights to the US West Coast start boarding. Prices run from around $100–$200 for simpler sterling or small gold items into the four-figure range for heavier gold or multi-pearl pieces. Staff can usually size rings or adjust chains on the spot, which helps if you’re between connections and don’t plan to come back to Honolulu soon.

This isn’t an impulse stop for snacks; it’s where you buy a serious gift before a 5–6 hour flight back to LAX, SFO, or SEA. Expect lots of plumeria motifs, maile-style chains, and black or golden Tahitian pearls, in line with Na Hoku’s mainland mall locations. If you only have 15–20 minutes between arriving at an interisland flight and boarding in Terminal 2, you can still scan the cases quickly and ask for one or two pieces by item number.

Tip: take photos of item tags with prices and style codes so if you change your mind mid-flight, you can follow up with Na Hoku’s mainland stores or online shop using the exact model details from HNL Terminal 2.
