Gate-side in HND T2, Blue Sky is the quick snack stop
Right in Terminal T2 at Haneda, Blue Sky is one of the standard JAL-affiliated shops you see across Japanese airports. Think packaged regional snacks, drinks, and travel odds and ends you forgot to throw in your bag. You’re airside, so this works for last-minute gifts before domestic JAL flights in T2.
Hours typically track the T2 schedule, opening from early-morning bank (around 6:00) through the late-evening departures. If you’re on a 22:00 JAL flight out of T2, you usually still find it open for a bottled tea and something quick. Just don’t rely on it for true 24-hour coverage; overnight gaps exist once the last flights close out.
Expect airport pricing: canned coffee or tea around ¥150–¥200, standard bottled drinks a touch higher, and boxed snacks and omiyage commonly in the ¥800–¥1,800 range. Blue Sky leans into regional sweets and rice crackers, so it’s easy to grab a Hokkaido-branded cookie set or Tokyo-labeled biscuits instead of hunting through the main T2 concourse.
Food is mostly grab-and-go: onigiri, simple sandwiches, and pastries often priced under ¥500. Quality is fine for a quick bite before a 90-minute domestic hop, but this isn’t a sit-down meal replacement. If you want a real bowl of ramen or tempura, eat elsewhere in T2 before you commit to gate area time.
Tip: Use Blue Sky as your last stop for neatly boxed omiyage in T2; buy drinks and basics here, then head straight to boarding when your group is called.
