Near Gate 60 in T1, you’ll see Asia Favourites’ snack wall first
Asia Favourites sits airside in Terminal 1 near Gate 60, between long-haul boarding areas and the satellite gates. It runs daily from 07:00 to 23:00, so it’s open for the first regional departures and most late-night red-eyes. This is a packaged-food shop only, so think grab-and-go rather than fresh meals.
Expect shelves of sealed snacks and drinks with a Hong Kong and Asian focus: things like shrimp chips, seaweed snacks, boxed cookies, and gift-ready sweets that survive a 12-hour flight. Being in T1 near Gate 60, prices skew higher than city supermarkets, but still below what you’d pay on board for similar items. It’s useful if you remember last-minute gifts right before a CX or HX flight out of that pier.
Because everything is packaged, it works well for clearing customs in the EU, US, or Australia, and items ride fine in a cabin bag through multiple connections. You won’t find hot food, fresh fruit, or sandwiches here, so if you want a real meal in T1 you’re better off hitting the main food court near check-in aisles or a restaurant closer to the Sky Bridge rather than relying on Asia Favourites by Gate 60.
One practical tip: if you’re boarding near Gate 60, do your snack and souvenir run here 15–20 minutes before scheduled boarding, then head straight to the gate; options thin out once you move deeper into the pier.
