Duty Free

T2

Gate-side in T2, NASCO Duty Free is your main last-stop shop

Right after immigration in Terminal T2, NASCO Duty Free stretches along the central concourse used by most international departures from Hanoi. It sits airside, so you need a boarding pass and cleared exit stamp before you can shop. Layout runs in a loop around cosmetics and liquor islands, so you can browse without losing sight of your gate screens.

Liquor shelves carry the usual big-brand whisky, cognac, and vodka, with multi-bottle promo packs often advertised at the aisle ends. Prices tend to be lower than Hanoi city center malls for imported spirits, but not dramatically so; think single malts in the US$45–80 range. Check your destination’s allowance before stacking cartons, as staff sometimes remind passengers about 1-liter limits to places like Australia.

Tobacco, perfume, and skincare sit in the middle zone, with testers out for most major brands. Fragrance prices usually sit roughly 10–20% under typical Vietnamese department store tags, but you’re paying for airport convenience more than deep discount. Staff often push bundle deals on cosmetics; if you only want one item, ask clearly, as some promos assume 2–3 pieces.

Confectionery and souvenirs crowd the back section, near several T2 boarding gates for airlines like Vietnam Airlines and ANA. You’ll see big tins of cookies, chocolate multipacks, and Vietnamese coffee gift sets in the US$8–25 range. Packaged fish sauce and liquids are sealed in tamper-evident bags if you buy right before boarding.

Plan 10–15 extra minutes at NASCO Duty Free in T2; lines spike fast when two or three long-haul flights board within the same hour.
