T1’s NASCO Business Lounge sits in the domestic terminal as the plain-vanilla contract option most people only mention in passing. You’ll find it inside Terminal T1 after security, signed simply as the “Business Lounge,” used by various Vietnamese carriers when they don’t have their own room.
Opening hours run roughly from first domestic departures to the last evening flights out of T1, so figure around 05:00 until late night, depending on the schedule that day. Access typically comes via a business-class boarding pass, elite status with partner airlines using T1, or certain lounge programs sold at the door at locally reasonable prices compared with big international hubs.
Food is basic Vietnamese airport fare: expect a few hot trays with rice, noodles, simple stir-fried dishes, and light snacks rather than anything cooked to order. Drinks usually mean canned soft drinks, bottled water, tea, and coffee from a machine; don’t count on a strong international alcohol list or bar service here. Plan to eat a real meal in the terminal if you want something more memorable than a quick plate of rice.
Seating skews to rows of standard armchairs grouped around low tables, fine for 30–60 minutes but not set up like a long-haul flagship lounge. Power outlets exist along some walls and under a few seats, so bring a longer cable or small power strip if you need to charge a laptop and phone before a domestic hop. The room fills in the morning bank and again around early evening, mirroring T1’s flight peaks.
Wi‑Fi is included; expect a posted network name and password at the front desk or on table tents, with speeds good enough for email and messaging but not always strong for 4K streaming. Restrooms are usually inside or directly adjacent to the lounge, which still beats trekking back into the general T1 concourse every time you need a break. If you care about a quiet work call, bring headphones with decent noise isolation, as sound control in contract lounges tends to be minimal.
Use NASCO in T1 when you already have access and just need a seat, a power outlet, and a quick bite before a domestic flight; otherwise, factor in that the regular T1 concourse often works just as well if you only have 20–30 minutes before boarding starts.
