P3 Car Park

Long-term parking

Five to seven minutes on foot from Terminals A–C

P3 Car Park sits in the regular long‑term zone at Hannover Airport, about a 5–7 minute walk from Terminals A, B and C. It’s signposted with “P3 Langzeit” on the access roads, so watch for that after you pass the terminal frontage. This is an uncovered multi-storey style car park, aimed at trips of several days rather than a single overnight.

This is pay-on-exit parking with barrier control and ticket machines near the pedestrian exits. P3 prices sit below the premium P1 level but above the more remote economy fields; it’s the mid-range option in the airport’s tariff. You enter from Flughafenstraße following the P2/P3 direction; the turnoff for P3 comes just after the fork to P2, so stay in the correct lane as you approach at 30 km/h.

From P3, the signed walking route takes you past P2 and then straight to the terminal forecourt, where Terminals A, B, and C line up side by side. Count on about 400–500 meters of walking, depending on the row you park in. Lifts and stairs link each parking level to the ground-floor exits, which helps if you have two or more suitcases. Lighting runs across each deck, useful for late evening departures around the 20:00–22:00 wave.

There’s no dedicated security checkpoint at P3; you use the normal terminal security lanes for your airline. No firm reports of regular issues like overbooking or blocked exits surfaced in recent checks. Still, photograph your level number and row, for example “Level 3, Row D,” before heading to check-in Zone 120 in Terminal B or your airline’s area. One last tip: keep your entry ticket in your wallet rather than the car, so you can pay at the machine before walking back on arrival.
