Across from the main check-in desks in Terminal T, Airport Shop Eelde covers the basics for a small regional airport. You’ll see it right after you enter the compact hall, next to the security entrance used for all GRQ departures. It’s the only dedicated shop landside, so this is your last chance before security for any extras you forgot to pack.
Inside Airport Shop Eelde you get standard duty-paid items: snacks, bottled drinks, a short run of spirits and wine, plus magazines and Dutch newspapers. Expect airport markups on drinks and chocolate, but not outrageous compared with bigger hubs like AMS. You can also grab small travel items such as power adapters, charging cables, and basic toiletries if something didn’t make it into your carry-on.
The shop usually opens ahead of the first departures bank in Terminal T, roughly 2 hours before the earliest flight on the board, and staff tend to close up after the last outbound rotation of the day. Card payment dominates here, and Dutch bank cards plus common credit cards all work at the single checkout counter. Don’t plan on doing major last-minute shopping; think 5–10 minutes, not a long browse.
One practical tip: if you want water for the flight, buy it here before security at Terminal T and carry it through only if your airline allows it onboard from landside; otherwise, factor in the EU liquid rules and wait until you’re airside or on the plane for drinks.
