Terminal 1’s “Holiday Wing Lounge” name doesn’t match anything public

Glasgow Airport only lists UpperDeck Lounge in Terminal 1, so a “Holiday Wing Lounge” there almost certainly means a tour-operator branded area inside, or a mislabel of UpperDeck itself. If your paperwork says Holiday Wing Lounge in T1, plan to follow the standard lounge signs after security rather than hunting for that exact name on the boards.

Terminal 1 at Glasgow handles most charter and leisure flights, and the airport’s own lounge page only shows UpperDeck operating daily with prebook prices starting around £32 per person. If your tour operator voucher mentions Holiday Wing Lounge, expect access rules tied to that specific package rather than airline status or Priority Pass.

Signs for lounges appear after security in Terminal 1, roughly a 3–5 minute walk from the main central search area, and current maps show just one mainstream lounge entrance there. Staff at the information desk opposite the main World Duty Free store can confirm if your “Holiday Wing” access is valid at UpperDeck or a cordoned-off section inside it.

UpperDeck at Glasgow usually runs from around 04:30 to 20:30, though closing time can move earlier on quiet evenings, and tour operator blocks of seats are often tied to morning departures between 06:00 and 10:00. If your package includes the Holiday Wing label, check the small print for a latest entry time and don’t expect access for late-night departures after 21:00.

Glasgow Airport’s T1 food court sits directly above the main departure lounge and coffee prices hover around £3–£4, so lounge value turns mainly on whether your deal includes drinks and snacks. If your Holiday Wing access comes bundled with a package holiday, treat it as a bonus and keep a backup plan in case the desk only recognises “UpperDeck Lounge” on the booking.

Practical tip: reach Terminal 1 security at least 90 minutes before your flight, and when you clear, walk toward the lounge signs and simply ask at the desk, “My voucher says Holiday Wing Lounge for T1, is that UpperDeck here?” Then adjust quickly if they point you back to the main seating area.
