One-minute flat walk from car to T1 check-in

Accessible Parking at Exuma International (GGT) sits directly next to the T1 terminal, with roughly a 1-minute walk across a flat surface lot. The setup is simple: park in the front lot, grab your bags, and you’re already in sight of the terminal doors. There’s no shuttle, no ramps between levels, and no multi-storey garage to deal with.

Rates run about $15.00 per day or $100.00 per week, which lines up with GGT’s other basic surface parking prices. You pay for proximity here: a very short roll or walk instead of a bus ride. For trips longer than 6–7 days, the weekly rate usually comes out cheaper than paying the daily charge every day.

The lot sits directly in front of T1 with curbside drop-off a few metres from the front rows, as described in trip reports where people “just walked across the parking lot and back” after check-in. Online reviews don’t spell out the exact number of marked accessible bays, but they also don’t mention stairs, steep ramps, or long routes between car and terminal door.

Regulars who travel with less-mobile relatives usually pull up at the terminal curb first, drop the passenger and bags, then loop back to park in the same front lot. With the terminal this close, that extra loop only adds a couple of minutes, and it avoids juggling a wheelchair or walker between rows of cars.

Tip: If you need space for a wider door swing or ramp, aim for the rows closest to the terminal side of the lot and arrive at least 90 minutes before departure to give yourself more choice.
