Gate C shops thin out fast; Hudson News is the fallback

Hudson News in Terminal C sits airside near the C6–C9 cluster, so it’s the last real grab-and-go spot before you walk down to the end of the concourse. It’s the standard airport newsstand setup for GEG: magazines, books, snacks, headphones, and a wall of drinks you can hit in under five minutes between boarding calls.

Hours usually track the first and last flights out of C, roughly 4:30 a.m. to around the final departure at night, but smaller-city rules apply: if the late flight cancels, they may close early. Prices run airport-normal, with bottled drinks around $3–$5 and basic candy or chips in the $2–$4 range. Grab single-serve meds and travel-size toiletries here instead of hiking back toward A/B.

Food is mostly packaged: protein bars, nuts, trail mix, and candy near the front racks by the register. If you need something closer to a meal, you’re better off eating in the A/B side before heading to Terminal C, then using Hudson for a drink and backup snacks. They also carry phone cables, power banks, and basic tech adapters on a pegboard near the rear wall.

Practical tip: hit Hudson News in Terminal C right after security and before you sit at your gate; lines spike about 20–30 minutes before each C-bank departure.
